A SLICE OF FRESH BREAD
By Dan Bolin, CCI/Worldwide
A few weeks ago, the biggest moon I’ve ever seen rose in the dusk of the eastern sky. It was huge. The atmospheric conditions were perfect, and the moon was closer to earth than any time since 1948, before I was born.
Actually, the moon was the same size as it has always been, but it appeared bigger because I was closer to it than any other time in my life.
Is your God big or small? It all depends on how close you are to Him. God is bigger than we will ever be able to comprehend. But our perspective of Him grows or diminishes based upon our proximity to Him.
The writer of Hebrews said it this way: “. . . anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.” (Hebrews 11:6b).
Don’t allow life’s busyness, pain or pleasures to move you away from a close relationship with God. A bigger view of God is our reward as we move closer and closer toward Him.
