Situated on the banks of the Muskoka River and as a part of the Muskoka Bible Centre, Camp Widjiitiwin has 3 cabins and its own island on Mary Lake available for private booking.

Guests of Widjiitiwin will have access to all of the amenities of the Muskoka Bible Centre with the quiet of staying at the Camp Widjiitiwin facility with its private waterfront.

The Cabins:

Each cabin has its own washroom and the option of adding a bunky (+$65/night) to expand capacity. The bunkies have 2 beds and electricity but are required to share the bathroom in the accompanying cabin.

Each cabin has its own parking spot close to the cabin.

Hemlock $109/night

A quaint, 2-bedroom cabin, with a front porch, Hemlock gets its name from the wood used to line the inside of the cabin. Similar to cedar, hemlock has a distinct atmosphere.

 Medhut $139/night

Medicine Hut is where our summer camp medic stays, Built before Camp moved to the current site, the Medhut is a classic rustic cottage, with a sitting room, kitchenette and screened porch.

Beds: 1 Double, 1 bunk bed, 1 pullout loveseat

Kitchenette: Sink, Fridge, Microwave, Hotplate (dishes provided, bring your own cooking utensils and pots and pans), BBQ

 

 

 

Pine Cabin $199/night

Normally used to house our camp pastor and their family, Pine cabin is lined with pine v-groove, features a full bath with tub, kitchenette with sitting area and a queen master bedroom.

Kitchenette: Sink, Fridge, Microwave, Hotplate (dishes provided, bring your own cooking utensils and pots and pans), BBQ

Widji Island $99/night

Situated on the north west edge of Mary Lake, Widji Island is a short 25 minute paddle from MBC and offers a unique and quiet campsite covered by a mix of white pine and borreal forest. The island has an outhouse and a campfire pit and 3 sites suitable for 4 person tents.

Included:

  • 1 canoe with pfds, paddles and emergency bucket (additional canoes available for $15/day)
  • Safety orientation on canoeing
  • 1 parking spot at the Marina
  • A bag of firewood
  • Access to Widji and MBC amenities

Adventures:

Adventures offer unique opportunities to go climbing, throw an axe together or rappel off of a cliff. There are a wide selection of adventures available to choose from. These range in price according to the adventure, and 2 free adventures are provided for guests staying at Widjiitiwin. Adventures are available every day from 11-5:30, booked at least 1 day in advance and most serve only 1 household at a time ensuring dedicated attention to your household. They range from 30 minutes to 60 minutes in duration.

Food:

  • Meal plans or individual meals may be purchased from MBC or at the Hub at MBC for July 3rd to the end of the summer. Details are Here
  • Or you can cook over a fire or in your kitchenette. A list of local restaurants is available at the Longhouse office.

Linens:

Each Cabin is stocked with linens and towels. Fresh towels are available at the Longhouse office.

Checkin and Check out

Check-in is at 3:00pm and Check out is 10:00 am

Guests are permitted to arrive the day of their booking at any time, and schedule their adventures for that day if they wish, but access to their cabin will not be available until check-in time.

Check-in takes place at the MBC main office, where you will be directed to where you are staying. A Widjiitiwin staff Host will meet you and help get you settled and provide assistance in planning your stay.
