In light of the fluidity of developments in Ontario with Covid-19, Camp Widjiitiwin is committed to creating a safe environment for our campers in the eventuality that we are able to open for the summer of 2021. To prepare for this eventuality, we are opening registration but postponing the collection of fees until closer to the summer.
To receive our monthly updates, join the newsletter here, or register to express your interest in camp this summer. Camper Applications will be opening by December 1st. Your registration expresses an intent to attend the program and that empowers us to engage with our local health unit to create a safe operating standard for campers, and comes with no financial obligation at this time.
Beginning in 1930, Camp Widjiitiwin has established itself as Muskoka’s overnight summer camp with character and a community focus. Life at camp is full of fun games and challenging activities, but the most memorable experiences for campers at Widjiitiwin are the relationships they develop with peers and leaders. SALT Campers and staff are involved in the creative process of developing new games, leading chapel and campfire times. Every week ends with campers signing each other’s camp shirt (provided with their registration) and campers and families are invited to follow and participate with our social media accounts, where we share posts and pictures from the summer year-round.
We’re dedicated to ensuring your camper has the best camp experience possible. To learn more choose the age category from the menu at the top of the page and download our 2020 brochure with the button on the right.
Camp Widjiitiwin – The way camp is meant to be… relational, central, natural, reaching out, a loving community focused on Christ. It’s like coming home, it’s my camp!
