To Our Widjiitiwin Family,
It is with the sincerest regret that I tell you we have decided to cancel our on-site summer season at Camp Widjiitiwin. This was a very difficult decision. As we looked and evaluated the options and how we might run camp safely for all our campers, partners and staff, we didn’t believe this was possible given the restrictions that would be in place for us to be safe at camp.
So much of what we do at camp is based on doing camp together. We believe it would compromise our vision to do camp in limited ways with PPE and physical distancing. Here is the link to the letter we sent our camp families, staff, donors and Ignite partners.
We’re looking forward to hosting you in 2021!!
